I’m a Midwest-raised, Washington-based photographer and artist shaped by short winters, small crews, and a rope-tow that taught me to appreciate snowboarding as I interact with it today. Growing up, winters were getting shorter and shorter and that scarcity instilled gratitude, a sense of urgency, and ultimately a pull to places beyond the suburbs where I grew up. After picking up a camera, boarding with friends, chasing honest moments and learning how to tell stories through movement and instinct eventually became Walker Studio, a place to create intentional, high-quality visuals for outdoor brands, businesses, and people driven by purpose.
My work aims to blends narrative with bold, intentional composition. I’m drawn to the in-between moments - the breath before a trick, the stillness of the places we travel, and the fragments of a story that say more than what can just be observed. At the same time, I’m driven to be in the action, pushing in close and taking risks to find perspectives that communicate the gravity of the tricks, the terrain, and style of each person I capture.
While much of what I create lives in the outdoors, my approach stays consistent across every project: story first, composition with meaning, and imagery grounded in authenticity. Whether it’s building a brand campaign, shooting an event, or documenting a journey, I aim to make work that feels lived-in, resonant, and real in an attempt to preserve the ephemerality of a moment long after it passes.
